Airlines Suspend Flights to Tel Aviv Amid New Missile Tensions
Several global airlines, including Air France-KLM, Delta Air Lines, and Lufthansa, have suspended flights to and from Tel Aviv after a missile fired by Yemen's Houthi rebels landed near Israel's main airport. This comes after a brief resumption of services following a January ceasefire with Hamas.

In light of renewed missile tensions, multiple international airlines have suspended flights to and from Tel Aviv. The decision follows an incident where a missile, launched by Yemen's Houthi rebels, landed near Israel's primary international airport on Sunday.
Earlier this year, airlines began resuming services to Israel subsequent to a ceasefire agreement with the Palestinian militant group, Hamas, reached in January. The resumption marked a cautious return to normalcy after the damaging Hamas attack on October 7, 2023. However, recent developments have prompted another round of suspensions.
The affected carriers span across various regions and include AEGEAN AIRLINES, AIRBALTIC, AIR EUROPA, AIR FRANCE-KLM, and British Airways, among others. These airlines have announced cancellations and suspensions of flights to Tel Aviv, with dates varying from early to late May, due to ongoing security concerns.
