Mumbai, India - Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. has achieved a significant milestone by securing its largest-ever order in the solar water pump segment. Awarded by the Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA), the contract is valued at over Rs. 101 crore for the design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning of 4,500 Off-grid Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems across Maharashtra under the PM-KUSUM scheme.
This landmark order underlines Crompton's dedication to sustainable irrigation solutions that empower Indian farmers. It includes a five-year maintenance contract ensuring long-term reliability of the systems.
