A Hyderabad-Tirupati SpiceJet flight was forced to return to Hyderabad shortly after takeoff on Thursday due to a technical snag, according to sources close to the incident.
Flight SG 2696, initially scheduled for a 6.10 AM departure, eventually took off at 6.19 AM and aimed for a 7.40 AM arrival in Tirupati. However, an unspecified issue led to its return to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
At the time of reporting, the airline had yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.
