A SpiceJet flight bound for Tirupati was forced to return to Hyderabad shortly after its departure due to a technical glitch. Sources confirmed the on-time takeoff was disrupted by an issue with the luggage door indicator.
Following the illumination of the AFT baggage door light, the pilot decided to head back to Hyderabad as a precautionary measure, a move confirmed by a SpiceJet statement. The flight maintained normal cabin pressure throughout the incident.
The aircraft landed safely at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, with passengers disembarking without incident. In the meantime, a replacement aircraft was provided for the onward journey. The airline has not disclosed the number of passengers on board.
