A Madurai-bound IndiGo flight encountered a technical snag mid-air on Friday, prompting a safe return to Chennai, according to airport officials.
The flight, carrying 68 passengers, had been airborne for approximately thirty minutes when the pilot noticed the issue. The pilot then sought and received permission to land back in Chennai.
All passengers were safely deplaned upon landing. As of now, IndiGo has not issued any official statement regarding the incident.
