Germany's Luftwaffe Conducts Diplomatic Pick-Up from Israel

Germany's air force has successfully conducted a 'diplomatic pick-up' operation, airlifting 64 individuals from Israel, as confirmed by the country's defence ministry on Friday.

The mission involved two A400M military transport aircraft of the Luftwaffe, which are currently en route back to Germany, according to an official statement.

This operation has been categorized as diplomatic rather than a military evacuation, thereby not requiring parliamentary approval typically needed for such missions.
