Air India Express has announced the resumption of its flights to the Middle East following temporary suspensions due to regional airspace closures amid heightened tensions. Services restarted on Tuesday, connecting key destinations such as Muscat, Riyadh, and Jeddah.
The Tata Group-owned airline operates in 13 Middle Eastern cities, scheduling around 900 flights weekly. Starting today, flights will operate from Delhi to Muscat, with subsequent services on routes including Mumbai–Muscat and Kozhikode–Riyadh.
Meanwhile, flights to UAE cities such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah are set to commence from Wednesday. IndiGo has reported stabilized operations to Gulf regions, though some flights may avoid Iranian airspace, leading to potential delays.
