Jabalpur Airport Bomb Threat Deemed a Hoax

A bomb threat that led to the evacuation of Jabalpur airport in Madhya Pradesh turned out to be a hoax. An email threatening to blow up the facility prompted a massive security sweep, officials confirmed on Monday.

The threat email, discovered to have been sent to 40 to 41 different locations, is believed to be the work of a prankster. Police and security teams, including the Anti-Terrorist Squad, were swiftly deployed, though no suspicious items were found.

Normal airport operations have resumed, and security remains tight. Efforts to identify the perpetrator are underway, with the cyber cell tasked to track the source of the email. Legal action is anticipated once the culprit is identified.
