In a tragic incident in Madhya Pradesh's Narmadapuram district, an ambulance collided with a tree, resulting in the deaths of a young mother, her newborn son, and another woman passenger. The accident occurred on Monday as the vehicle was transporting the family back to their village after childbirth.
Anjali Rajput, aged 21, had recently given birth to a baby boy at a local hospital on June 26. Along with two other relatives, they were en route to their home in Sarra Kishore village when the crash took place. According to Piparia police station's Girish Tripathi, the ambulance driver lost control of the vehicle before it struck a mango tree.
Tragically, Anjali, her infant, and another woman died at the scene, while the driver and another passenger sustained injuries. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, raising concerns about ambulance safety and driver's road control under emergency conditions.
