Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has named Yasushi Sasaki as the new Chair for Asia Pacific, effective from July 1, 2025. Sasaki, who currently oversees BCG's Northeast Asia System operations, brings a wealth of expertise from his career at BCG, which began in 2002. Based in Tokyo, Sasaki has led numerous strategic initiatives in financial services, including banking and asset management.
In response to his appointment, Sasaki expressed gratitude for Neeraj Aggarwal's previous leadership and emphasized the importance of steering BCG Asia Pacific into a new era. "We will tackle AI-driven productivity, net-zero growth strategies, and innovative supply chains," he stated, underscoring the ambitious outlook for the region.
Under Aggarwal's leadership, BCG's Asia Pacific operations achieved significant expansion, particularly in digital capabilities and diversity initiatives. The firm, known for more than five decades of service in the region, has been instrumental in advising major companies on traversing global trade complexities. With 27 offices throughout Asia Pacific, BCG remains committed to providing transformational strategies to its clientele.
