Bajaj Auto Limited has announced almost flat sales for June 2025 when compared to the previous year, driven by varying performances across its segments. Notably, a robust 14 per cent year-on-year growth in the commercial vehicle sector helped balance a 2 per cent decline in two-wheeler sales, which fell to 2,98,484 units from 3,03,646 units in June 2024.
The company's domestic sales witnessed a 16 per cent reduction, a challenge partly compensated for by an 18 per cent surge in exports. Between April and June 2025, total sales reached 11,11,237 units, with domestic sales accounting for 6,34,808 and exports comprising 4,76,429 of the total. The commercial vehicle market showed a considerable upswing, with sales jumping to 62,322 units, compared to 54,831 in June 2024.
Bajaj's two-wheeler segment continued to experience a constricted market with flat year-on-year growth for the quarter, hinting at subdued demand despite positive signs of market recovery. However, the promising growth in exports suggests a potential pivot towards international markets to stabilize revenue streams in the face of domestic market hurdles. The Pune-based multinational, part of the Bajaj Group, continues to navigate these shifting dynamics.
