In an impressive display of market prowess, TVS Motor Company has announced its highest-ever quarterly sales, achieving a landmark figure of 12.77 lakh units sold in the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26. This achievement marks a milestone for the company as it continues to expand its market presence.
The surge was significantly bolstered by a commendable 20 percent growth in total sales for June 2025, where the company sold 402,001 units, a stark increase from 333,646 units in June 2024. Two-wheelers led the charge, with sales climbing from 322,168 units to 385,698 units year-on-year. Motorcycles and scooters saw respective growths of 24 and 26 percent.
However, the company faced challenges within the electric vehicle sector, experiencing a slight dip in sales due to supply chain constraints, notably the scarcity of magnets. Despite these setbacks, international trade flourished with exports witnessing a 54 percent boost. The substantial increase in two-wheeler exports underscores robust global demand, complementing impressive growth in three-wheeler sales as well.
