Sunil Jayawant Kadam Takes the Helm as Sebi Executive Director

Markets regulator Sebi announced on Tuesday that Sunil Jayawant Kadam has assumed the position of executive director. Kadam's new responsibilities encompass crucial departments such as Information Technology, Investor Assistance and Education, alongside matters relating to the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM).
Additionally, Kadam will be tasked with overseeing Economic and Policy Analysis, General Services, and other critical operational sectors within the organization. The promotion comes as Kadam has been an integral part of Sebi since 1996, transitioning from his former role as Chief General Manager.
Throughout his tenure, he has undertaken several key assignments including leadership in Corporation Finance, Market Regulation, and Investigations. Kadam's academic qualifications include an MBA from the University of Pune and a postgraduate degree in Securities Law from Government Law College, Mumbai.
