Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is set to launch and lay the foundation for pivotal infrastructure projects valued at Rs 6,350 crore in Jharkhand, marking a significant investment in the state's transportation sector.
The slew of projects includes 11 National Highway ventures with notable developments in Ranchi and Garhwa. A Rs 560-crore elevated corridor and a 23-km four-lane highway constructed at Rs 1,130 crore stand out among them.
However, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren will not attend due to personal commitments related to his father's health, an issue also acknowledged by the state's political figures.
