In a tragic incident on Wednesday morning, a collision between a truck and a private bus claimed two lives and left 26 others injured in Maharashtra's Washim district.
The accident occurred around 7 a.m. when the truck, traveling from Nagpur to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, lost control after a tire burst, causing it to veer into an oncoming bus near Pedgaon village.
The deceased have been identified as the drivers of both vehicles, while 26 injured passengers are currently receiving treatment in hospitals across Akola, Washim, and Shelubazar, with six reported seriously injured.
