In a significant financial maneuver, Patel Chem Specialities Limited completed its anchor book allocation well before its Initial Public Offering (IPO), scheduled for July 25, 2025. The company, a noted producer of cellulose- and starch-based pharmaceutical excipients, brought on board a group of eight prominent anchor investors as part of this strategic move.
Taking the lead in this allocation, Bengal Finance & Investment Private Limited was allotted 5,96,800 equity shares, valued at ₹5.01 crore. This allocation accounts for 30.03% of the entire anchor portion, marking it as a pivotal participant in this process. Other notable investors include Meru Investment Fund PCC, Arnesta Global Opportunities Fund, and Zeal Global Opportunities Fund, among others.
The shares were priced at ₹84 each, which includes a ₹74 premium, for a total of 19,87,200 equity shares allocated to these investors. The strategic planning and execution of this allocation were spearheaded by Cumulative Capital Private Limited. Co-founder and Director, Swapnilsagar Vithalani, highlighted the firm's role in aligning long-term capital with companies demonstrating high growth potential.
