Real estate powerhouse Omaxe Group has successfully raised Rs 500 crore from prominent investment firm Oaktree Capital Management. The funding aims to fuel the company's ongoing projects and support future expansion plans, including residential, commercial, and public-private partnership (PPP) developments.
According to a regulatory filing released on Monday, this financing will enable Omaxe to strengthen its core operations and accelerate project delivery timelines. Furthermore, the company disclosed it had raised Rs 431 crore through debentures issued on a private placement basis, further supporting its growth trajectory.
Having delivered over 140.17 million sq ft of real estate and construction contracts, Omaxe's strategic growth includes acquiring a 450-acre land parcel in Indore for township development. The group maintains a significant presence across 31 cities in eight states, signaling robust expansion with this latest financial backing.
