Gandhinagar, Gujarat: Baheti Recycling Industries Limited, a prominent force in the aluminium recycling sector, has announced a pivotal investment in a 1.2 MW solar plant. This Rs. 3.51 crore project is a testament to the company's dedication to sustainability and ESG initiatives.
The solar plant is expected to slash energy expenses by 60%, potentially saving Rs. 1.25 crore annually, while also lowering the company's carbon emissions. Baheti's Chairman, Shankerlal Shah, underscored the plant's strategic role in boosting operational efficiency and aligning with ESG values.
Additionally, Baheti Recycling's expansion efforts have been marked by an IATF certification, allowing access to Tier-1 automotive markets. The company targets 34,000 MTPA capacity with new investments in furnace systems and extends its footprint to South India and Europe. This aligns with their push into Zinc Alloys and Aluminium Billets, diversifying applications and promising sustainable margins.
