Varun Beverages Ltd, PepsiCo's largest franchise bottler, has announced a 5.04% rise in its consolidated net profit for the second quarter of 2025, ending June. The boost comes despite a challenging summer impacted by unseasonal rains that curbed volume growth in India.

The company, which operates under a calendar financial year, reported a net profit of Rs 1,325.4 crore, up from Rs 1,261.8 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations, however, saw a 2.32% decline to Rs 7,163.02 crore.

Varun Beverages highlighted international growth, with a 15.1% increase in sales volumes, partially cushioning the domestic decline. The company also expanded operations, launching new production facilities in India and starting snack production in Morocco. Shares rose to Rs 522.30, up by 1.97% on BSE.
