Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd (PGHH) announced a remarkable surge in its profit after tax, more than doubling to Rs 192.06 crore for the fourth quarter ending in June 2025. This strong performance compares to Rs 81.06 crore profit in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
The company's revenue from operations showed a slight increase of 0.56%, reaching Rs 937.03 crore in the June quarter, up from Rs 931.75 crore a year earlier. According to PGHH's earnings statement, the impressive profit growth is attributed to reduced advertising investment impacts from the base period.
While total expenses saw a substantial decline of 17.75% to Rs 680.02 crore, total income, including other revenues, edged higher to Rs 944.72 crore on a year-over-year comparison. Reflecting investor confidence, shares of PGHH rose by 6.12%, closing at Rs 13,885 per share on the BSE.
