Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd has announced an impressive financial performance for the quarter ending June 2025, recording a more than two-fold increase in profit after tax, which now stands at Rs 192.06 crore. This is a substantial rise from the Rs 81.06 crore reported in the same period last year.

Despite a modest revenue increase of 0.56% to Rs 937.03 crore, the company effectively controlled its expenses, which saw a notable 17.75% decrease to Rs 680.02 crore. The enhanced profitability has been attributed to higher advertising investments during the base period, according to PGHH's earnings statement.

Furthermore, PGHH's governance has undergone an organizational shift with the financial year now aligning from April to March, changing from the previous July to June schedule. Meanwhile, the company's shares climbed by 6.12% on the BSE, closing at Rs 13,885.
