Karnataka's Ministers M B Patil and Priyank Kharge will discuss the investment promotion incentive policy with CM Siddaramaiah. Proposed projects include Space Park and PCB Park, requiring inter-departmental coordination.

Karnataka's drive to enhance industrial investments is moving forward as Ministers M B Patil and Priyank Kharge prepare to discuss a key policy with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. This initiative aims to refine the investment promotion incentive policy to attract significant industry investments.
The policy, developed by top officials, will establish a framework for incentives and concessions across pivotal sectors like the proposed Space Park and Electronic Components Manufacturing Park. Both the Industry and IT/BT departments seek to streamline their efforts, highlighted by overlaps in current incentive offerings.
With substantial projects on the horizon, including creating a Space Park and a Drone Testing Centre, the departments are focused on ensuring proper resource allocation. Emphasis is also placed on developing a robust Industrial Water Security Policy, which includes alternative power generation, to support burgeoning industries across Karnataka.
