Mahindra and Mahindra recorded a robust operating performance across its diverse business segments in the first quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year, reporting a consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 4,083 crore, marking a 24% increase from the previous year. On Wednesday, the company's Board of Directors sanctioned the financial outcomes for the quarter ending June 30, 2025.

For the April to June period, the consolidated revenue from operations saw a 22% upsurge, reaching Rs 45,529 crore. The automobile and farming divisions maintained their momentum in growth and profitability, with a 20% rise in profits, according to the Group's earnings disclosure. Moreover, the financial services sector experienced a 15% increase in assets under management (AUM).

Tech Mahindra achieved further success in margin enhancement, with a 260 basis point improvement in EBIT. Mahindra Logistics demonstrated strong revenue growth at 14%, and Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Ltd (MHRIL) expanded its room inventory by 10%. Anish Shah, Group CEO and Managing Director of M&M Ltd., lauded the quarter's performance, citing broad-based growth and operational excellence across all business units.

Despite confronting geopolitical disruptions and other macroeconomic challenges, Group Chief Financial Officer Amarjyoti Barua expressed satisfaction with the quarterly results. He emphasized the group's dedication to capital discipline and operational metrics, underscoring its commitment to creating shareholder value.
