Niti Gupta, a luxury curator from Dubai, is making waves with her latest venture aimed at introducing international talent to India. Her carefully chosen lineup for the International Lounge at WE2025, organized by the IMC Ladies Wing, is highly anticipated. With over 20 years of experience, Gupta's initiative seeks to connect global designers with the Indian market.
Gupta describes this project as an extension of her work with The AFRA World, aiming to create a collaborative platform for designers. "It's about handpicking designers who resonate with both the Indian and international markets," she said. This year's showcase includes designers like Victoria Su from Thailand, France's BNS, Egypt's Flat White, and Portugal's FS Baby, among others.
Highlighting the significance of such showcases, Gupta emphasized the importance of direct designer-consumer interactions. Victoria Su noted, "Our collection features botanical prints perfect for India," while Glam On You expressed excitement over presenting contemporary silhouettes. The showcase at Jio World Convention Centre in August 2025 promises to be a melting pot of cultures, introducing fresh fashion narratives.
