In a tragic incident, a 16-year-old boy, identified as Arvind Rajbhar, lost his life after being struck by an express train in Udaina village. The accident occurred on Friday evening as the boy, who was wearing earphones, attempted to cross the railway tracks.
According to local police reports, Rajbhar was listening to music when the Tapti Ganga Express, enroute to Ballia, hit him. The Railway Protection Force promptly reached the scene to manage the aftermath and initiated a thorough investigation.
The body of the deceased was sent for a post-mortem examination, police confirmed. The unfortunate event has raised concerns about safety measures at railway crossings, highlighting the need for increased awareness.
