In the highly competitive defence and aerospace sectors, maintaining strict quality standards is a prerequisite for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) aiming to gain a foothold in the global supply chain, emphasized Manoj Jain, chairman of Bharat Electronics Limited. His remarks were made during the curtain-raiser for the 7th edition of the India Manufacturing Show (IMS).

Jain highlighted at the 'Aerospace & Defence Engineering Expo' the necessity of MSMEs aligning with rigorous quality and compliance standards. He pointed out that while flexibility is needed, it should not overshadow the essential regulatory requirements, hence calling for a mindset shift throughout the industry ecosystem.

Laghu Udyog Bharati-Karnataka, in collaboration with the IMS Foundation, is organizing IMS 2025. Taking place from November 6-8 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, the event promises to attract significant government and industry attention, with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurating. The expo will focus on collaborations and business, expecting to generate substantial trade opportunities.
