Rx Propellant's 1GV Campus in Hyderabad Earns Prestigious EDGE Advanced Certification

Rx Propellant, part of the Actis platform, has announced that its flagship campus, 1GV, based in Genome Valley, Hyderabad, has secured the EDGE Advanced Certification from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a World Bank Group member. This award recognizes the campus's achievements in energy efficiency, water conservation, and use of low-carbon materials, reaffirming its sustainability leadership in life sciences research and development.

Designed for life sciences companies to engage in cutting-edge research, 1GV boasts impressive figures: energy savings of 44%, water savings of 79%, and reduced embodied energy in construction materials compared to traditional setups. These elements enhance its position as a future-focused and cost-efficient choice for pharmaceutical, biotech, CDMO, and MedTech businesses. Remarkably, 1GV is the second speculative life sciences project globally, and within the Rx Propellant domain, to achieve this EDGE Advanced certification, following its counterpart, 3GV, in the same locale. 3GV was the first campus to receive this distinction, marking a global milestone under the EDGE framework.

Additionally, Rx Propellant's Navi Mumbai Research District gains EDGE Advanced pre-certification.
