Bosch Ltd, a prominent player in the auto component industry, announced a notable surge in its consolidated net profit for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025. The profit soared past Rs 1,115 crore, more than doubling its performance from the previous year's same period when it stood at Rs 465 crore. The remarkable financial upswing is attributed to a one-time income derived from the strategic transfer of a key business vertical.

The company recorded a total income of Rs 5,077 crore, reflecting a substantial increase compared to Rs 4,496 crore reported in the corresponding period last year. As part of its business restructuring, Bosch Ltd successfully completed the transfer of its 'Video solutions, Access and Intrusions, and Communication systems' division, netting an exceptional profit of Rs 556 crore from the sale.

Managing Director Guruprasad Mudlapur attributed this exceptional growth to the company's unwavering focus on core business enhancement, coupled with strategic investments in future-centric technologies such as hydrogen, electrification, and digital services. These efforts align with Bosch's commitment to sustainable mobility, solidifying its position as a trusted partner for India's clean and innovative future.
