The Civil Aviation Ministry recently disclosed that ten cases of emergency aircraft landings resulting from technical issues have occurred since the beginning of 2024.
Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Murlidhar Mohol, presented these figures in the Rajya Sabha and noted 171 audits by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) since 2020.
Further, Mohol outlined the findings from structural audits at Delhi Airport, which assure terminal safety despite weather-related challenges like severe thunderstorms.
