In a devastating accident on Sunday, eight individuals were killed in Gujarat's Surendranagar district when their car collided with an SUV, tumbling into a ditch and bursting into flames.

Despite frantic efforts, locals could do nothing as the inferno quickly consumed the vehicle. The tragic incident unfolded near Dedadara village in Wadhwan taluka at approximately 3:40 pm.

Authorities report that while the SUV's front was severely damaged, three passengers inside escaped with minor injuries and were taken to a hospital. The highway witnessed considerable traffic disruption following the accident.
