The Punjab government is taking a decisive step towards boosting its industrial sector by establishing a new authority dedicated to maintaining industrial focal points. This initiative, announced by Industries and Power Minister Sanjeev Arora, is expected to address a wide range of issues faced by industrialists.

With tenders worth Rs 100 crore already floated, plans are underway to enhance infrastructure with upgraded sewerage systems, CCTV cameras, lighting, and roads. This move is part of a broader strategy to significantly improve the business environment in Punjab.

Further driving industrial growth, the government will host the 'Rising Punjab - From Suggestions to Solutions' event across major cities and a Punjab Investment Summit in March. The aim is to bolster investment and simplify approval processes, demonstrating a bold commitment to industrial development.
