The train will feature eight parcel vans and a seating-cum-luggage rake with an intermediate loading option at Baribrahman. Initially launched as a pilot project for a year, the service aims to efficiently transport Jammu and Kashmir's unique products like dry fruits and handicrafts.
The Railway Board emphasized security, insisting on coordination with state police for secure operations. This endeavor, highlighting products such as saffron and pashmina shawls, aims to enhance the region's economic potential by reducing transportation time and showcasing local specialties across India and beyond.
