Odisha Greenlights ₹4,515 Crore Investments: Boosts Employment and Infrastructure

The Odisha government has given its nod to 18 investment proposals worth ₹4,515 crore, aiming to generate employment for 8,200 people, according to an official statement released on Wednesday.

Chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority approved these initiatives, which are planned for eight districts including Angul, Ganjam, and Khurda.

Among the notable investments are a ₹990 crore expansion of Konark Ispat Ltd's steel plant in Jharsuguda and a ₹750 crore solar cell unit in Ganjam, highlighting Odisha's commitment to green energy and economic development.
