A dramatic incident unfolded when a 50-year-old man slipped while alighting from a train in Maharashtra's Akola district, suffering severe injuries as a result.

The accident took place on Monday at approximately 4:20 pm at Murtijapur railway station, where Mushtaq Khan Moin Khan alighted unsuccessfully from the Pune-Amravati train.

Railway Police coordinated with a local rescue team to free Khan, utilizing a gas cutter to remove the train's footboard. He suffered leg injuries and is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital.
