Shilpi Arora has become the first woman from Uttarakhand to be elected as a director at Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited (KRIBHCO), a notable achievement in the cooperative sector.
KRIBHCO is one of India's leading multi-state cooperative organizations, supporting millions of farmers through vital agricultural products. Arora's election represents a milestone for women's participation in this traditionally male-dominated field.
With over two decades of experience advocating for farmers' and women's issues, Arora also participated actively in the Ghazipur border protests. Her roles include founder chairperson of Ficci FLO Uttarakhand and state president of Punjabi Mahila Mahasabha. Expressing commitment, she congratulated newly elected chairman Sudhakar Chaudhary and vice chairman Chandrapal Yadav.
