Jindal Foundation Marks PM Modi's 75th Birthday with Massive Tree Plantation Drive

To celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday, the Jindal Foundation, under the leadership of Chairperson Smt. Shallu Jindal, organized the planting of 75,000 saplings across India in a day. This significant endeavor spanned states including Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Jharkhand.
In a message, MP Naveen Jindal praised Modi's leadership in driving India towards a developed nation and extended his wishes for the Prime Minister's health. Aligned with the Odisha Government's 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0', Jindal Foundation planted 55,000 saplings in Odisha's Angul, Barbil, Tensa, and Kasia, marking it as the largest one-day state contribution.
The initiative saw enthusiastic participation from diverse community groups such as women's self-help groups, farmer organizations, students, and volunteers. Selection of fruit-bearing and medicinal plants aimed to ensure long-term ecological benefits. The event also featured notable participation by governmental and Jindal Steel officials, reinforcing community engagement in sustainability efforts.
