Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya marked a significant milestone for Gujarat's railway network by inaugurating new train halts in the Rajkot district. These halts, affecting seven trains, are set to benefit more than one lakh residents and industrial workers in the region.

The stops have been strategically added at Navagadh, Jetpur, and Ranavav stations, located under Mandaviya's Porbandar Lok Sabha constituency within the Western Railway's Bhavnagar division. The move comes in response to persistent local demands for improved connectivity and is expected to support the bustling dyeing industry in Jetpur.

Speaking during the event, Mandaviya emphasized the economic impact of the new train stops, noting that it would aid in transportation convenience for Jetpur's industrial workforce. By addressing the long-standing demands, the initiative aims to enhance local commuting and support regional economic growth.
