Mahindra Logistics has announced a significant expansion with the addition of over 4 lakh square feet of warehousing in Guwahati and Agartala. This move is part of the company's 'Go-East' strategy, designed to serve key industrial clusters and transportation hubs in North-East India.

The new facility in Guwahati spans 3 lakh square feet, making it the largest Grade-A multi-client warehousing venue in the region. It also features North-East India's first Community Centre of Excellence, set up in collaboration with the Logistics Skill Council.

The 1.3-lakh square foot Agartala facility aims to boost connectivity with important industrial centers across Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, and Manipur. It's strategically located to serve as a platform for cross-border trade with Bangladesh. Mahindra Logistics plans to develop 1 million square feet of multi-client warehousing space and expand express logistics services to over 800 pin codes.
