Drone Drama: Oslo Airport Disruption
Oslo Airport temporarily halted landings due to a drone sighting. A Norwegian Air pilot reported seeing multiple drones. Although no flights were diverted, police were notified. Recent weeks have seen similar disruptions at several European airports, indicating a growing concern over drone incursions.

Oslo Airport faced a brief suspension of landings early Monday following a drone sighting, according to its operator, Avinor. An Avinor spokesperson confirmed that aircraft were held in the air until the situation was resolved, but none were redirected to other airports.
A Norwegian Air pilot reported spotting three to five drones while approaching the airport, as per police information. Although the report remained unverified, no further disturbances occurred, and air traffic continued seamlessly, Avinor stated.
This incident adds to a series of similar disruptions across major European airports in recent weeks, including Copenhagen, Oslo, and Munich, underscoring ongoing challenges in aviation safety due to drone activity.
