Brigade Enterprises Ltd, a leading real estate developer, has announced a new partnership to undertake a major housing project in Chennai. The development will cover 6.6 acres and is projected to generate Rs 1,000 crore in revenue.
According to a regulatory filing on Monday, the Bengaluru-headquartered company has entered into a Joint Development Agreement for the land parcel located in West Chennai. ''The estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of the project is Rs 1,000 crore,'' stated the filing.
Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director of Brigade Enterprises Ltd, emphasized the significance of Chennai as their second-largest market, calling the joint venture a strategic step to enhance their footprint and diversify their offerings within the city. The real estate market in Chennai is reportedly flourishing, driven by robust infrastructure and sustained demand from end-users and investors alike.
