British Airways is set to enhance air connectivity between India and the UK by launching an additional daily flight between London and Delhi in 2026. The announcement comes in the wake of a newly signed Free Trade Agreement, expected to stimulate economic activities between the two countries.
Currently operating 56 flights weekly to five Indian cities, British Airways will expand its services with a third daily flight to Delhi. Prime Minister Keir Starmer, leading the 'Britain Means Business' mission, emphasized the airline's role in strengthening trade links.
The policy updates include enhanced services, such as the introduction of the First cabin on flights to Mumbai and a new business class Club Suite. British Airways CEO Sean Doyle highlighted the airline's century-long ties with India and its strategic position to facilitate increased trade post-FTA.
