Gadkari's Infrastructure Push: Puducherry's Path Forward

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is set to visit Puducherry on Monday to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several key infrastructure projects. The highlight is a Rs 436 crore elevated corridor connecting Indira Gandhi Square to Rajiv Gandhi Square.
During his visit, Minister Gadkari will also dedicate three national highway projects worth over Rs 2,000 crore. Additionally, improvement works on a 14-km section of the East Coast Road, costing Rs 25 crore, will be undertaken, according to officials.
Another significant project is the 38-km four-lane stretch of National Highway 32 from Puducherry to Poondiankuppam, developed at a cost of Rs 1,588 crore. Puducherry Lt Governor K Kailashnathan, Chief Minister N Rangasamy, and several other dignitaries will partake in the ceremonies.
