Tragedy Strikes: Deadly Bus Crash in South Africa

A tragic bus crash in the mountainous region of northern South Africa resulted in at least 42 fatalities, authorities reported on Monday.

The accident took place on the N1 highway near Louis Trichardt, approximately 400 kilometers from Pretoria, the country's capital. The bus was traveling from South Africa's Eastern Cape.

The Limpopo provincial government revealed that the passengers were primarily Zimbabwean and Malawian nationals heading home. Survivors of the crash were taken to hospitals, although details on the number of injured are being confirmed.
