In a tragic road accident on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, three men lost their lives after being hit by a speeding bus early on Friday. The victims were exchanging directions on the roadside when the incident occurred.
The victims, identified as Praveen Kumar and Deepak, traveling in a Thar SUV, and motorcyclist Yogesh, were all residents of Delhi. The accident took place near the IPEM institute exit point around 6 am, according to SHO Vijay Nagar Dharam Pal Singh.
Police promptly arrived at the scene, conducted a preliminary investigation, and sent the bodies for a post-mortem. The bus driver, Virendra, traveling from Tilak Nagar to Haridwar, has been detained. The vehicle has been seized as part of the ongoing investigation.
