Daikin to Boost Haryana's Industrial Clout with Major R&D Investment

Japanese air-conditioning manufacturer Daikin is set to invest approximately Rs 1,000 crore in establishing a state-of-the-art Research and Development (R&D) center in Manesar, confirmed Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday.
This investment, marking the largest R&D setup of its kind in the country, promises not only to drive technological innovation but also to enhance Haryana's position as a key industrial hub by generating over 500 new jobs. The announcement was made during a meeting with a Japanese delegation at Saini's official residence.
With this initiative, the Haryana government aims to further attract foreign investment, showcasing the success of its industry-friendly policies. Saini emphasized the state's efforts towards promoting 'Ease of Doing Business' through measures like a single-window system to facilitate industrial investments.
