In a bid to foster stronger ties and economic growth, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann called on the Punjabi diaspora to contribute to Punjab's transformation during his visit to Finland. Mann emphasized the importance of collaboration between Punjab and Finland, particularly in agricultural innovations and dairy systems.
The chief minister held discussions with the Indian Ambassador to Finland, Hemant H Kotalwar, exploring avenues for bilateral trade. Mann highlighted the potential for Finnish expertise in food and agricultural sciences to benefit Punjab's dairy technology, sustainable livestock practices, and food processing capabilities.
The delegation underscored the importance of tackling food grain management challenges through innovative, eco-friendly solutions. Punjab aims to explore structured exchange and collaboration programs, with potential introductions of superfood Solein to bolster nutrition schemes, marking a step towards sustainable food production.
