In a significant move reinforcing its commitment to climate action and sustainability, the M3M Foundation, led by Dr. Payal Kanodia, collaborated with TheCSRUniverse to co-host the second edition of the Climate Action & Sustainability Conference and Awards (CASCA'26), marking World Earth Day at the India International Centre in New Delhi.
With the theme "LiFE in Action: Powering India's Sustainable Future & Net Zero Goals," CASCA'26 provided a pivotal platform, bringing together over 250 participants and 40 speakers from various states. Eminent figures like environmentalist Peepal Baba and the Waterman of India, Rajendra Singh, shared their insights on advancing India's climate agenda through innovation and community-led action.
Dr. Payal Kanodia emphasized the importance of community ownership in climate action, urging localized, inclusive, and scalable solutions. The event spotlighted 18 organizations for their sustainability leadership, including PAHAD Trust and Earthrakshak Foundation. Discussions on pressing issues like climate-resilient agriculture and circular economies highlighted the collaborative strength of the conference.
