Tragic School Commute: Overloaded Auto-Rickshaw Overturns in Jharkhand

A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Jharkhand's Latehar district, as an overloaded auto-rickshaw carrying schoolchildren overturned, leading to the tragic death of 12-year-old Ankur Minz.
The mishap, which occurred in Baskarcha village under Mahuadanr police station limits, left 17 other children injured. Five critically wounded students were referred to a hospital in Gumla for advanced care.
In the aftermath of the accident, both the driver and the vehicle owner fled the scene. Authorities have since embarked on a manhunt to apprehend those responsible for this tragic accident. Ankur was a Class-7 student at St Mikhail School, and the community is reeling from the loss.
