Deepak Chem Tech Limited Joins Forces with Praxair to Boost Polycarbonate Production
Deepak Chem Tech Limited has partnered with Praxair to establish a HyCO plant supplying key materials for its polycarbonate facility in Gujarat. The collaboration aims to secure long-term supply, enhance project execution, and facilitate India's automotive, electronics, and construction sectors. The on-site facility is set to launch in 2028.
Deepak Chem Tech Limited (DCTL) has entered a strategic alliance with Praxair, a Linde company, to launch a HyCO plant. This initiative aims to supply essential raw materials for DCTL's imminent polycarbonate manufacturing site in Padariya, Dahej, Gujarat.
Under the accord, Praxair India commits to constructing, owning, and managing a dedicated on-site establishment to provide feedstocks crucial for polycarbonate production. This agreement ensures reliable, long-term supply, merging DCTL's downstream materials platform with Praxair India's industrial gas expertise.
Set to be operational by 2028, the facility supports DCTL's focus on its core capabilities. It promises consistent availability and operational efficiency, contributing significantly to the domestic production of high-performance materials for India's automotive, electrical, and construction industries.
