BASF Announces New Global Hubs in Hyderabad
BASF will establish a new global service hub and a global digital hub in Hyderabad by 2026, creating two legal entities to support global finance, HR, and digital expertise. This aligns with Hyderabad's rise as a GCC hub, with plans to add over 100 new GCCs and 100,000 jobs annually.
Chemical major BASF announced on Tuesday plans to establish a new global service hub and a digital hub in Hyderabad by 2026. These efforts will operate under two separate legal entities, one focusing on finance and HR services and the other on digital expertise.
The Letter of Intent (LoI) was presented to Telangana IT Minister D Sridhar Babu. Companies are increasingly favoring Hyderabad as a GCC (global capability centers) hub, with over 75 GCCs established last year, officials report.
Minister Babu expressed ambitions to continue this growth, aiming for over 100 new GCCs and generating more than 100,000 jobs annually. This endeavor highlights Hyderabad's growing prominence in the industry.
